The following are eligible projects:

  1. Removal of an indoor non-certified cordwood and wood pellet stove, and replacement with an eligible cordwood or wood pellet stove.
  2. Removal of an indoor non-certified cordwood and wood pellet furnace or boiler and replacement with an eligible cordwood or wood pellet furnace or boiler.
  3. Removal of an outdoor cordwood or wood pellet boiler and replace with an eligible cordwood or wood pellet heating appliance.
  4. Upgrade a fireplace with an eligible fireplace insert.
  5. Removal of a fireplace and replacement with an eligible cordwood or wood pellet heating appliance.
  6. Removal of an oil or propane furnace or boiler (including duel fuel cordwood combination furnace or boiler) and replacement with an eligible modern cordwood or wood pellet heating furnace or boiler.
  7. Supplementation of an oil or propane furnace or boiler with an eligible modern cordwood or wood pellet heating appliance.

 

(NOTE: Combination Furnaces using Wood and Electricity are eligible but not units using oil or propane with wood.)
